Julian’s Gift is currently in its startup phase. Newly incorporated and 501c3 approved, we are beginning to set up the necessary framework to achieve our ultimate goal — to assist families with the financial burden of funerals and related events for children who pass away during the first 12 months of their life. We also strive to assist these families by offering information and referrals for other financial, emotional and educational resources and support. Julian’s Gift will serve the greater Kent County, Michigan area on a referral basis from local hospitals and funeral homes. Our goal is to assist and not to interfere. Therefore, the process of assisting families will be done almost entirely behind the scenes. We will work directly with the referring agency to collect required documentation for approval of financial gift(s). Once approved, we will make payment directly to the referring agency for the benefit of the family experiencing the loss.
